Sharon Draper made great decisions when writing the book out of my mind that I appreciate when reading this book.I like how she writes in melodys point of view.Chapter 1,words “I am surrounded by thousands maybe millions of words that swirled around me like little snowflakes”page 1.Sharon Draper has a wide range of vocabulary and writing in her book out of my mind.Chapter 4, I slide out of my wheelchair like a piece of a noodle.She keeps you on the edge of your seat by writing so good and you want to read more of it.Chapter 6, “I pointed to need on my board,then to read,then back to need/read/need/need,then to talk,talk,talk”.I love how when I read this book I know that Sharon Draper writes about disabled people and what disabled people are going through
